Benefits of Broadband
Any connected business can use broadband to achieve real business benefits. It can help you lower your costs (through streamlining your processes), reach new markets (for example by having a foreign language website), retain your existing customers (say, by using email newsletters and special offer marketing), and to train and develop your staff. WODC has teamed up with a range of organisations to form the Oxfordshire Broadband Partnership, whose aim is to provide free and independent information and advice to businesses on the potential advantages of broadband. The Partnership also has a small grant fund to help businesses with the initial set up costs.
