West Oxfordshire District Council and Cotswold District Council are jointly seeking to award a contract for professional services to implement Umbraco open source Content Management System (CMS) to underpin the websites for West Oxfordshire District Council and Cotswold District Council.
A design is currently being developed by a separate web design agency and the appointed developer will need to work with that agency to implement the final designs and build the templates.
The council/s are looking for a developer with proven experience of working with Umbraco and we will be seeking evidence from any interested parties that they have developed medium-large websites (500+ pages) with complex transactional content using this platform. Evidence must also be provided that the developer has previously created websites with relatively high volumes of traffic (1000+ unique visits per day).
Due to the anticipated value of this contract, the council is looking for competitive quotes. All quotes must be returned on the official Invitation to Quote form which can be obtained along with a specification of the work from Sarah Turner.
Deadline for submission of the quotations is Friday 10th February 2012.
