Hypnotism

If you wish to show, demonstrate or perform a hypnotism act in public, you must have authorisation from the local authority. This must be done by the giving of 28 days notice to West Oxfordshire District Council and forwarding a copy of your public liability insurance. There is no fee or prescribed form.

Performances must comply with the Home Office Model Condition outlined in circular 39/1996 and the Hypnotism Act 1952.
