Council property
The Council manage three industrial estates, two in Witney and one in Chipping Norton and units are let directly to local businesses. In order to encourage economic development in the area the Council's policy is that preference is given to new businesses, particularly where it involves new employment opportunities, though lettings to established companies may be considered. The Witney units generally range between 800 sq ft and 1200 sq ft, the Chipping Norton ones between about 600 and 3,000 sq ft. Unfortunately units only come onto the market relatively infrequently, however applicants may register their interest or obtain further information from David Thurlow on 01993 861583. Details of any vacant council properties are listed on the Property Register.
