Business Rates

Business rates or non-domestic rates are levied on all non domestic premises. The Council collects the rates for the Government and these are then re-distributed to local councils according to the number of people living in the area, to help contribute towards the cost of local services. These pages outline how the business rates are calculated, how to get relief and how to pay.

has been published and is available to download. This document contains all the information you need on how your rates are calculated, available reliefs, the Council's budget and business support that is available.
