Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations

To mark 60 years of the Queen's reign the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012. Celebrations will centre around an extended weekend from 2 to 5 June which will include:.

• The Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday 3 June
• Jubilee beacons - thousands of beacon will be lit around the world on Monday 4 June

Celebrations in West Oxfordshire

We are encouraging communities to keep in touch with their event plans so we can offer help by:

• Providing information and practical advice on issues such as safety, licensing and traffic management.
• Offering advice to town councils who might be considering landscaping or creating 'Jubilee' gardens, flowerbeds or tree planting.
• Encouraging communities to keep their areas clean and tidy by providing litter picking equipment.
