How the Safety Advisory Group Works

The Safety Advisory Group has two main functions:

  1. Advise the Licensing Authority (West Oxfordshire District Council) on appropriate conditions for large licensed events; and
  2. Advise organisers of licensed and unlicensed events on matters relating too:

The Safety Advisory Group is the first point of contact for anyone organising an event to which the public are invited.

The SAG normally meets between 6-8 times a year to review events.
