The WODC Electoral Services section is responsible for the administration of Parliamentary and European Parliamentary elections, as well as Local Government Elections for West Oxfordshire District Council, Oxfordshire County Council, and the Town and Parish Councils in West Oxfordshire. Information about the frequency and cycle of elections is available from the Future Elections page.

Registered voters may apply to vote by post. Please see Postal Voting Application Form for an application form which can be completed and returned to us.
The deadline for the receipt of applications to vote by post is 5pm on the eleventh working day before the poll.
Registered Voters may alternatively apply to appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf, and a reason for appointing a proxy has to be given. Please see Proxy Voting Application Form and please be sure to read all the notes carefully when completing the form. New proxy applications have to be received by 5pm on the sixth working day before the poll.
However, after that deadline applications may be made on the grounds of a medical emergency, up to the latest time of 5pm on polling day. Please contact electoral services if you need more information about this.
