Parish and Town Councils

There are 54 Town and Parish Councils in the District and 27 Parishes which do not have a Council, but a "Parish Meeting".

For contact information for town/parish councils and parish meetings, please see Town and Parish Councils Information. For information on when town and parish councils have elections, see parish & town council election years

Some parishes have their own website. To view details follow the link to the Parish and Town websites page.

If you require any more information, please complete the online General Enquiry Form.

The Oxfordshire Data Observatory provides a single access point for statistics and information about towns and parishes across the County in a simple way, whether you are a frequent data user or someone who knows very little about statistics. The information includes:

  • population levels;
  • information on historical and projected population growth;
  • area profile information;
  • the local economy;
  • education and skills;
  • housing; and
  • information on travel patterns.
