Review of Polling Provision

The Council has carried out a review of the polling provision in the District. This relates to the designation of "polling districts" and "polling places", and is all explained in the file download available from the right of this page, which is the proposals on which the Council consulted in 2007.

Following a review, the Council is required to publish various documents, as follows:

correspondence sent to the returning officer in respect of the review
correspondence sent to anyone thought to have expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons with differing disabilities
the minutes of relevant meetings: see General Purposes Committee minutes of 27 September 2007
details of the outcome of the review
details of the designation of polling districts or polling places as a result of the review
