West Oxfordshire District Council believes it is important that residents can see how their taxes are being spent.
The annual accounts audit for the financial year ending 31 March 2011 has concluded and the statement of accounts is available for inspection. This can be done by any local government elector for the District at the Council's Woodgreen offices between 9am and 5pm on any weekday (excluding public holidays). The elector can make a copy of the statement, or any extract, or this can be supplied on request.
At 1st April 2012, the Council employed 280 individuals. This equated to 240.26 full-time equivalent (FTE) posts.

In 2009/10 the Council's total Gross Service Expenditure was £25,027,000. The 'net worth' on the Council's balance sheet at 31st March 2010 was approximately £58,011,000.
As part of our commitment to transparency we will publish here all payments of over £500 that we have made for goods and services and details of senior management pay.
