New Collection Service October 2010West Oxfordshire residents will get a new and improved waste and recycling service by October 2010. Food waste and recycling will be collected weekly, while residual waste - items that cannot be recycled or composted - will be picked up fortnightly. For the first time a fortnightly garden waste collection service will also be available to all households that want it. There will be variations to the collection methods i.e. residents in flats could be provided with black sacks for residual waste and smaller or larger sized wheeled bins may be made available to households as appropriate.
