Bus Shelters

Bus shelters are the responsibility of the relevant Town or Parish Council.

New shelters are ordinarily funded by the relevant Parish or Town Council and Oxfordshire County Council. However your local Parish or Town Council should be your first point of contact.

Many bus shelters at prominent roadside locations contain advertising panels. These shelters are supplied and maintained by an advertising company. This company should be contacted in the event of any repairs being required to the shelter. The name of the advertising company will be displayed on the shelter.
