How to use your food waste caddy/bin

Your caddy and outside bin are simple to use. The following step-by-step guide explains what to do:
 

1. Line your kitchen caddy with a 100% compostable liner or a couple of sheets of newspaper if you wish (this is not compulsory).
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Put any raw or cooked leftover food into your caddy.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. When full, empty the contents of your caddy into your small outside bin and return your caddy to your kitchen for reuse.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Put your outside bin at the kerbside for collection each week on your designated day.

You do not have to wrap your food or put it into a bag. You can simply put it straight into your caddy and outside bin.
