Food waste caddy liners, filters and accessories

You can:

line your caddy with 100% compostable liners, or
line your caddy with a couple of sheets of newspaper, or
put your food waste straight into an unlined caddy and outside bin.

Compostable liners

You can only use only 100% compostable bags as they break down within 10 days and can be composted easily. Compostable liners are usually on sale in the same supermarket aisle as bin bags. Our food waste caddies are 7 litres in capacity.

Please note: Biodegradable and other plastic bags, including nappy sacks and dog bags are not suitable to use as liners. Food waste put out in these bags will will not be collected.

Biodegradable bags are not suitable because they take much longer to break down and so cannot be composted easily.
