To support the Council's on-going commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment, a Green Travel Plan has been implemented to promote alternative modes of transport for staff and visitors travelling to and between Council offices.
Traffic congestion in Witney is a major problem and the Council is actively involved in addressing this issue.
To promote the Green Travel Plan, a Green Travel Week was carried out during June 2006.
