Noise and other nuisances

Problems which could affect your health or be a nuisance can arise from premises caused by:

Smoke
Fumes/gases
Dust, steam, or smells from business premises
Accumulations or deposits
Animals
Noise (including noise from car alarms and machines in the street)
Light from artificial lighting installations such as floodlights, security lighting etc
Insects from business premises (e.g. poultry units)

Aircraft Noise

Local authorities are not legally empowered to deal with complaints of aircraft noise. Based in the district is RAF Brize Norton, the largest station in the Royal Air Force, employing some 3900 service personnel and over 600 civilians.
