Yellow Pages Directory Recycling

Over the last few years, during August and September, designated Yellow Pages recycling banks have been placed in recycling centres across West Oxfordshire.

All of the old directories were collected and recycled into newspapers and magazines. In 2008, more than 9 tonnes of Yellow Pages were collected recycled as a result of the scheme.

Did you know...?
Yellow Pages can also be composted. If you have a compost heap at home, tear up your old Yellow Pages Directory and place on your compost heap. The inks used in Yellow Pages break down harmlessly during the composting process. Most types of paper, card, and cardboard are a great addition to a compost heap.
* If you have a green waste bin - please do not put Yellow Pages in with your green waste - thank you.

Further information about recycling is available on the Councils webpages or by calling 01993 861020.
