Communications

The Communications Team provides regular news about the Council and helps with media enquiries regarding its work. The Team is the first point of contact for the media and can arrange interviews, photography and filming opportunities.

The Communications Team also:

produces all the Council's high quality publications. The work is done in-house to help keep costs down.
offers a graphic design service for some of our Partner organisations
produces regular newsletters to keep people informed of the Council's work
manages content on the Council's website.

A dedicated Community Safety Partnership Communications Officer works for the Police, District Council and other partner organisations. Contact Community Safety if you have any related enquiries.

Filming permissions
To film in West Oxfordshire you will need to seek permission of the relevant landowner. If you want to film in public areas, below are some useful contacts:

Oxfordshire County Council to film on the highways, in local state schools, libraries or in any of their council-owned properties, visit Oxfordshire County Council's 'Filming in Oxfordshire' web page for information.
Town or parish councils to film on village greens, local recreation grounds or cemeteries, see our list of Town and parish council contacts.
West Oxfordshire District Council for car parks, some recreation grounds, leisure centres and limited areas of land that are the responsibility of the Council. Please complete a media enquiry form.
