There are a number of different ways to make a Payment to the Council.
Online Payments
It's easy, quick and secure to make an online payment. You can use this method of payment for:All you need is your payment reference number (e.g. Council Tax account or an invoice number) and your payment card details. You can use your bank debit card or credit card to pay online: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta and Electron are all accepted.
A 1.35% administration charge will be added for any payments made using a credit card or non UK Debit Card. The exact amount you will be charged will be shown before you confirm your payment. This charge does not apply when paying a Fixed Penalty Charge (Parking Fine). There is no charge for payments made by UK Debit Card.
Telephone Payments
We provide an automated telephone payments service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 01993 861045.
You can use this method of payment for:

Parking Penalty Charges
For Parking Penalty Charges please use our dedicated automated payments service on 0845 6012584.
Payments for any Council service can be made at either at the Town Centre Shop in Witney or the Guildhall in Chipping Norton. We do not accept cash at the Guildhall but can take card or cheque payments.
Pay by Direct Debit
This is the easiest method of payment both for you as the customer and for the Council. It saves you the worry of remembering to pay each month, of writing a cheque, buying a stamp, posting a letter or standing in a queue at the Post Office or the Council's Cashiers office. Payment by Direct Debit is covered by a guarantee for your peace of mind.

If you have a problem making an online payment, please call us during office hours on 01993 861000 or report the problem online.
