Frequently asked questionsQuestionWhen will my Housing Application be considered? Answer Applications are considered on the basis of the number of points awarded for housing need. Rehousing is dependant on vacancies arising in the Applicants areas of choice and the needs of other Applicants requesting rehousing there. Priority is given to rehousing the Applicants with the most points. Additional preference may be given to rehousing persons who have a local connection with West Oxfordshire. The demand for vacancies in some areas, particularly Witney and Carterton is very high and Applicants may have to wait long periods before being considered. Applicants should choose as wide a choice of areas as possible to give an application better prospects of consideration when vacancies do arise.
