Answer The Council operates a Deposit Guarantee Scheme which aims to help people who are in Housing Need gain access to privately rented accommodation. Landlords/Landladies are offered a Deposit Guarantee bond in place of a cash deposit to cover loss or damage to the property beyond fair wear and tear.
