Answer A formal decision notice will be sent to you, or your agents, within a few days of the decision being made. This notice will include the reason(s) why your application has been refused. You may wish to contact the case officer to discuss whether or not a revised application may be acceptable prior to considering an appeal. Only the applicant can appeal against the decision of the planning authority.
