Frequently asked questionsQuestionBus Pass 2008 - My current pass has an expiry date considerably after 1st April 2008. If only want to travel locally do I need to change it? Answer The national free bus travel scheme is replacing our local free bus travel scheme so you will need to change your pass in 2008. However, the local bus carriers have agreed to a three month period of grace in which they will still accept your existing pass. During this period you will need to apply for a new pass in order to access free bus travel regardless of the expiry date on your pass and regardless of whether you just want to travel locally after the period of grace ends. back to FAQ listing |
