Bus pass 2008 - My new pass wouldn't work on a London bus

Answer
The electronic readers on London buses will not be upgraded until 2009 therefore they will not read the new national concessionary bus passes until then. However you are entitled to free off peak travel on London buses, just show your new national pass to the driver who will let you travel for free between 09.30am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday and anytime at weekends or bank holidays.
