Refunds and Cancellations Policy for Internet Transactions

1. In respect of goods and services are being purchased via the Council's web site:

Where the Council fails to deliver in accordance with our standards, then a full refund will be made.
The credit / debit card used for the payment will be refunded
This will be done as soon as possible but with 14 days of the refund being agreed by the Council
Cancellations will only result in a refund at the discretion of the Council.
In the event that the cancellation is agreed by the Council, the customer must take reasonable care of any goods already supplied by the Council until such time as they are collected by the Council.
In the event that the Council agrees to a refund following a cancellation, then this will be carried out in accordance with the above.

2. Where the Council agrees that a refund is due in respect of Council Tax, Business Rates or another payment not covered under 1, then:

The credit / debit card used for the payment will be refunded
This will be done as soon as possible but with 14 days of the refund being agreed by the Council
