Qualification Training
Where an external qualification is considered relevant to a particular job function the Council may agree to support staff in their studies. Such support normally includes funding for 100% of course fees and textbooks, along with time off to attend college and sit exams. As a condition of this support, staff are expected to repay a proportion of the fees if they leave the Council within a two-year period of completing the whole course or a defined part of the course.
