Residents warned about cold callers

Thames Valley Police have heard from a number of residents who have received cold calls from a company called Crime Research UK. They offer the homeowner a free burglar alarm but then charge high fees for for it to be monitored.

If you would like to have a burglar alarm installed you are advised to choose a reputable company through Oxfordshire Trading Standards 'Buy With Confidence' company list: www.buywithconfidence.gov.uk.
