Coach, Unsung Hero and Sports Club of the Year

We annually recognise the contribution and commitment of individuals and the achievement of clubs across the district through the following three awards:

Coach of the Year

This award recognises an individual who has made a significant impact through coaching, by giving up time to develop and help others within their club or community.

Coach of the Year 2012 - Jeremy Bristoe (Witney Wolves, Witney Rugby Football Club) 

Unsung Hero (Sport)

This award was previously known as Sports Person of the Year. It recognises an individual who has made a significant impact within their club or community. This could range from hosting matches and ground maintenance to securing funding for their club.

Unsung Hero (Sport) 2012 - Paul Duester (Chadlington Sports Club) 

Sports Club of the Year

This award recognises the achievements of an individual club, who are committed to their members, local community and sport.

Sports Club of the Year 2012 - Eynsham Roadrunners
