Fair-play

We know how important it is to make services more inclusive and Fair-play is our plan to encourage diversity and inclusion.

What we've done so far

• established an in-house inclusion group with Nexus Community
• identified suitable disability training for coaches and staff
• created an Access Guide to our Leisure Facilities
• set up a Multi Sports Club for disabled adults and young people
• produced Act to Include - a guide to widening club membership
• developed Taking Part - a programme offering low cost creative activities
• improved the Sports Directory to include access information
• held inclusion tours of all our leisure centres
• produced a downloadable listing of Inclusive Activities
• developed In it together - a project to raise the profile of disability sport

What we're working on next

• developing an access symbol system for clubs 
• providing more activities away from traditional sports and arts centres
