Healthy walks

This scheme promotes walking for better health.  It encourages anyone who takes very little exercise to take those first steps to a healthy lifestyle in an enjoyable way.  All walks are supervised by trained Walk Leaders. None of the walks should take longer than one hour.

Walking is the perfect activity for improving your health as it can:

  • Make you feel good
  • Give you more energy
  • Help you sleep better
  • Help reduce stress
  • Keep your heart 'strong'
  • Help to manage your weight
