West Oxon SOUNDZ

West Oxon SOUNDZ is a scheme aimed at young people aged 16-25 years who are finding it hard to access traditional learning or creative opportunities. Music is at the heart of SOUNDZ. Through the scheme we hope to provide a mix of music information and activities. We hope this will help young people and those professionals working with them. SOUNDZ is being developed by West Oxfordshire District Council in partnership with other organisations.

Between October and November last year sound engineering taster sessions took place at Carterton Youth Centre and Witney Youth Centre. We will be building on this with an accredited course starting in February 2008.

If anyone is interested in getting involved with the project please contact Leisure and Tourism or call 01993 861562.
