Taking Part

Taking Part is a scheme to help get creative workshops into communities across West Oxfordshire. Funding may be available to help towards the cost of the workshops.

Taking Part workshops

We have organised an exciting 'Menu' of workshops which cover everything from ceramics to circus skills, animation to sculpture, dance to poetry.

These workshops are led by skilled Oxfordshire artists who are used to working with all ages and abilities. Workshops can be tailored to meet the different needs.

Who can Take Part?

Anyone can choose and arrange a workshop. They are suitable for regular groups as well as one off events. Workshops must take place within West Oxfordshire.

Cost of the workshops

Prices vary depending on the type and duration of the workshop. The full costs, which include artists travel to the venue, materials and any specialist equipment, are shown in the Menu.

Some groups may be eligible to apply for a subsidy of up to 50% of the cost, though not schools and profit making groups.
