This page provides details of resources available that provide money advice, help managing your money or help if you have financial problems.

The Money Advice Service gives free, unbiased money advice to help you manage your money whatever your circumstances. Advice is available on line www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk over the phone, tel. 0300 500 5000, or face to face.

My Advice Gateway is a free comprehensive resource that helps people quickly find information on claiming benefits, accessing help and support with financial problems and looking for a job. www.myadvicegateway.org

Christians Against Poverty is a National UK debt counselling charity and provides free help with debts and help with money management. www.capuk.org/home/index.php

CAB Debt and Money Advice project

The Council in partnership with West Oxfordshire Citizens Advice Bureau offer a new free and confidential Money Advice and Debt Counselling Service in order to prevent homelessness.

They can help you to maximise your income and prioritise your debts as well as advising on defending possession proceedings including representation in court if necessary.
