Shared Ownership Resales

From time to time part-buy / part rent properties will become available as a result of existing owners moving further up the property ladder. These are known as "resale" properties. With the agreement of the Housing Association who owns the freehold, you would purchase the share owned by the present occupier for the open market value at that time.

There is currently five resales available.

Carterton

A one bedroomed ground floor flat for sale on a shared ownership basis. This is valued at £150,000. You will need to be able to purchase 40% which is £60,000. A rent of £309.17 is then payable on the remainder. You will need to have funds for a deposit, legal fees and mortgage arrangement fees. A 3 bedroomed house for sale on a shared ownership basis. This is valued at £215,000. You will need to be able to purchase 55% which is £118,250. A rent of £246.02 is then payable on the remainder. A 3 bedroomed house for sale on a shared ownership basis. This is valued at £220,000. you will need to be able to purchase 40% which is £88,000. A rent of £338.70 is then payable on the remainder.
