WHY JOIN?
You will receive crime alerts specific to your neighbourhood, including witness appeals. You will also be part of a scheme that brings members together to share any concerns.

WHAT IS INVOLVED
The schemes are run by volunteers who agree to receive information via the Thames Valley Community Messaging system.

The messages can be received via email, fax or as a recorded message to a telephone.

Each scheme has a co-ordinator who distributes the information to their neighbours. However, with the new online system members can receive messages directly, therefore reducing the workload for the co-ordinator.

Schemes can be as small as a collection of houses or as large as a street, village or parish.

HOW TO APPLY
Either:

Download and print the form on the right-hand side of this page
Visit the Community Messaging website and register online
Telephone the regional administrator Danielle Hanton on 01993 861640 who will send you an application pack
