In 2004 all households in the UK received an information booklet called 'Preparing for Emergencies - what you need to know'. The booklet gives advice on how to prepare for a variety of emergencies and what action to take in the event of an emergency.
The booklet has not been produced in response to any specific threat, and covers both terrorist and non-terrorist emergencies.
