West Oxfordshire Strategic Partnership

The West Oxfordshire Strategic Partnership (WOSP) is the Local Strategic Partnership covering the geographical area of the district of West Oxfordshire. It is a group of organisations from the public, community and private sectors that come together voluntarily to improve the quality of life of the residents of the West Oxfordshire.

Vision

'West Oxfordshire: One of the best places to live, work and visit.'

Purpose

To improve services, facilities and outcomes for the people of West Oxfordshire through effective partnership working.

Aims and objectives

To find ways to improve outcomes for local people
To foster joint action between stakeholders in the community
To provide a forum for debate and shared commitment

WOSP is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring Shaping Futures, the Sustainable Community Strategy for West Oxfordshire. More information about this strategy is available on the Shaping Futures page.
