I'm currently receiving housing benefit - when will my application change to LHA

From April 7th, 2008 all new applications will be assessed using the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rules.

If you are currently receiving Housing benefit and you change address, you application at your new address will be assessed for LHA.

If you are currently receiving housing benefits your award won't change until

• You change address (if you are a private tenant), or
• You make a new application
