Achievement Awards (Arts)

This grant provides financial support and public recognition for individuals participating and showing great promise in the arts in West Oxfordshire.

Grants awarded are between £50 and £250.

The deadline for applications is 15th October 2008.

Applicants must be aged 14 years or above. However, in exceptional circumstances applications from people below this age limit may be considered. If you think this may apply to you please contact the Joint Arts Development Officers to discuss further.
Applicants must reside within West Oxfordshire. Students should have their home address within West Oxfordshire.
The Award is only open to individuals.
Applicants must demonstrate a high level of commitment and skill represented by, for example, professional acknowledgment, examination success, accreditation or personal recommendation.
Priority will be given to applicants who aspire to follow a career in their chosen art form.
An Award must be used to cover the cost of a specific activity which might include, for example, the fees for a specialist residential course, the purchase of equipment or audition fees and travel, not for on-going costs.
