This grant supports groups who wish to develop their workforce capacity in coaching, officiating and playwork to increase participation.
The maximum grant available is £100.
The deadline for applications are as follows:
Groups must be based in West Oxfordshire or be able to demonstrate how the award would significantly contribute to sport, active recreation and play in West Oxfordshire.
Coaching/Officiating/Playwork must take place in West Oxfordshire following the award.
All individuals included on the application must be aged 16 years and above, and hold a valid enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) if specifically working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Applicants must have a bank/building society account in the name of the group.
Applicants must demonstrate how the grant will help the group contribute to the priorities of the Council.
A minimum of 10% partnership funding is required for applications under £100.
Emphasis is given to applications which:
a. Offer opportunities to break down barriers to participation.
b. Provide opportunities for individuals new to coaching, officiating or playwork.
c. Have partnership funding from group or other organisations.
