Forthcoming Affordable Housing Schemes for RentThe District Council works with Housing Associations to enable them to build new homes for local people. The Council hopes to develop at least four hundred new homes over the next four years. The majority of this new housing will be located in Witney, Carterton and Chipping Norton - as these are the areas where most people say they would like to live. A proportion of new homes will also be built in villages that have both a high demand for affordable housing and a suitable site to locate the new homes. Further information on forthcoming housing schemes under construction at present is given in the download New Affordable Housing Schemes for rent. To be considered you need to be registered on the Waiting List or if you are a tenant of a Housing Association in the District on the transfer list. Preference may be given to people who have a local connection with West Oxfordshire. Some schemes require an Applicant to have a local connection with the village where the scheme is located.
