Sports Awards

The West Oxfordshire Sports Awards are being run by the Council in partnership with GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited) Sports Foundation. The awards support talented young athletes participating at county level and above.

Amounts awarded

Grants will be between £100 and £1,250; athletes will also gain free access to the Council's leisure facilities (operated by GLL Nexus Community).

Deadline for applications

The deadline for 2011/12 applications has now closed.

Criteria

Applicants must reside in West Oxfordshire. Students should have their home address within West Oxfordshire.
Applicants need to be aged 12 years and above.
Grants are made towards costs of training, competition, coaching, and can be used to offset costs of; equipment, travel, accommodation, competition fees, coaching fees, or other similar expenditure in chosen sport.
