Make a payment

To make a payment you will need your payment reference number (for example, Council Tax account or an invoice number) and your payment card details. You can use your bank debit card or credit card to pay online - Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta and Electron are all accepted.

Please be patient when making a payment as it may take a little longer than expected to process during busy periods.

Call 01993 861045 for our automated telephone payments service which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can use this method of payment for:

  • Council Tax
  • Business Rates
  • Other invoices (sundry debtors) except parking penalty charges

Pay by Direct Debit

Direct Debit is West Oxford District Council’s preferred method of payment. It also saves you the worry of remembering to pay each month. Once set up, the payments will come out of your chosen bank account automatically, and you will have nothing further to do.

Payment by Direct Debit is covered by a guarantee for your peace of mind. This payment method can be used for:

  • Council Tax
  • Business Rates

If you are having problems making payments towards an outstanding bill or debt please get in touch as soon as possible.
