Access to InformationAs a member of the public you have the right to inspect and request copies of certain reports, background papers and applications on the Planning Register. The Planning Register is comprised of:
A summary of the Planning Register, which lists the application details, is also available for public inspection. Five working days prior to an application being considered by an Area Sub-Committee you may view and request copies of the report and any associated background papers at Planning Reception. Standard photocopying charges apply. Alternatively you can view the agenda and reports on the website by selecting the appropriate Area Sub Committee meeting. Once a decision has been made you are also entitled to view application files within statutory time limits. For major applications, or those which have generated significant local interest due to their complexity and size, the Council may require 24 hours notice to locate and prepare the file for inspection. |
