Issues and Options ConsultationPlanning for the FutureWest Oxfordshire District Council is reviewing the planning strategy for the District. New sites will need to be found for housing, employment and other uses. Core StrategyConsultation on the development issues in the District and strategic options to tackle them, was held during April and May 2008. A summary of the responses to the consultation is available below.
Site AllocationsAlmost 100 sites were suggested to the Council to be considered for development and were also subject to consultation during April and May 2008. A summary of comments made in relation to these sites is available below. A further 40 site suggestions have been received and these are now presented for consultation. As previously, these are not Council proposals but are presented to assist debate. We would like your views on the suitability (or otherwise) of these new site suggestions. The documents are also available at the Council's Town Centre Shops, Elmfield Office and Public Libraries. Please return your comments on the new site suggestions by Monday 18th August 2008 using the form available.
