LDF Sustainability Appraisal and evidence baseA Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report has been prepared and is now available for reference. The scoping report sets out the Council's approach to Sustainability Appraisal, a mandatory process whereby draft planning policies and proposals are tested to assess how sustainable they are, and a means of assessing which development options are best for West Oxfordshire. The scoping report is divided into several documents - the main scoping report is a summary of the scoping process and sets out the sustainability objectives. The appendices provide further detail. All of the documents are available in the file downloads section. Sustainability appraisal reports will be published concurrently with the proposed development plan documents as they progress through the various statutory stages. Supporting evidence base To support the documents contained in the LDF the Council is reviewing and expanding its evidence base.
