A community led plan is a plan that is developed by the local community for the local community. It sets out a vision of how your community wants to develop and identifies the action needed for you to achieve it.
There are a number of reasons why local communities might want to undertake a community led plan. These plans can:
There is support available for communities that wish to undertake a community led plan. Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC) works across the County to support rural communities and its Community Development Workers can help with community led planning. If you are interested in developing a plan for your community, please contact the community development staff at Oxfordshire Rural Community Council or telephone 01865 883488.
There are further resources available on the Community Led Plans South East website. The resources include guidance on how to undertake a community led plan and example plans produced by other local communities.
