Local land charges - local authority search

If you have a full local authority search, you will find out about any restrictions or plans held by us that could affect the value of your property.

Your solicitor can request and receive searches electronically as we are linked to the National Land Information Service (NLIS). These searches are much quicker - currently less than 3 days on average.

If you want a full local authority search as part of your property purchase, ensure that your solicitor or conveyancer is aware of this and make sure that you get the product which you have specified.
