Planning PolicyThe Planning Policy section is responsible for preparing, monitoring and reviewing planning policy in West Oxfordshire. The section liaises with outside bodies, particularly in connection with environmental policy and transportation policy. It also provides advice to the Council and its various services, to the public and to external organisations. The section also advises the Council on appropriate responses to strategic, regional and national planning policy. West Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 was adopted in June 2006 - the written statement, maps and documents can be viewed by following the link.
